Shingletown, Shasta County, 7/22/06

A quick evening trip to the Shingletown meadow netted little. There were tons of Widow Skimmers that were pretty unaproachable, a few Variegated Meadowhawks, Twelve-spotted Skimmer (1), Emerald Spreadwing (1), Tule Bluet (at least one), Western Forktail (2, male and female), Black-fronted Forktail (1 male). One of butterfly below is a hairstreak, but I can't figure out what kind..

Young female Tule(?) Bluet.

Same.

Probably a Hedgerow Hairstreak.
